Gwynne Bragdon, md
After receiving a biology degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, she attended and received her doctor of medicine degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bragdon’s professional training includes a four year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery completed at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. As part of her residency, she had the opportunity to cover football games of multiple high schools, University of Rochester football games, Rochester Americans AHL hockey games, and Rochester Rhinos soccer games. In addition, she completed a one year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Bragdon is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has passed her Certified and Qualified Hand Examination. She practices orthopaedic surgery with special expertise in surgery of the hand and upper extremities. Dr. Bragdon has presented at numerous medical lectures in the Pittsburgh area as well as Florida. She has co-authored multiple research articles and has had a poster presentation at the American Academy of Orthopaedics in San Diego, California.
When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Bragdon enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She is married to Dr. Andrew Evans, another local orthopaedic surgeon, and resides in the city with their child.
