Dr. Anthony Watson named Editor-in-Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery Examination
Dr. Watson has been chosed by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons to be the Editor-in-Chief of the Orthopaedic Special Interest Examination: Foot and Ankle. He will direct the preparation of potential questions for the examination and choose the questions that make up the examination. The Orthopaedic Special Interest Examinations are used by practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons and Orthopaedic Surgery residents for continuing education and preparation for Board and Recertification examinations.
New Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon joins GPOA on May 15th

Dr. Graham Johnstone to be honored by Allegheny County Medical Society.
On Saturday, March 24, the Allegheny County Medical Society will honor Dr. Johnstone with the Physician Volunteer Award. He will receive the award, which recognizes Dr. Johnstone for his annual, voluntary medical missionary work in Africa, at the Society's annual fundraising gala. Every year, Dr. Johnstone gathers donated medical supplies and travels to Africa to donate the supplies and donate his time providing Orthopaedic care to the citizens of Galmi, Niger.
